أرضٌ جديدة وخبرةٌ جديدة
في منتصفِ شهرِ آب مِن العامِ الماضي، سافرتُ إلى تورنتو في كندا للبدء بالمرحلة الثّانيّة مِن دراسة اللاهوت في كليّة ريجيس سانت مايكل Regis Saint Michael “RSM”، التّابعة للرّهبانيّة اليسوعيّة في إقليم كندا، والّتي تنضوي مع سبعِ كُلّياتٍ لاهوتيّة (التّابعة لطوائفَ مسيحيّة متعدّدة)، تحت جامعة تورنتو الحكوميّة University of Toronto.

“بيت ألبيرتو”. منذ سنتَين، كانت هذه العبارة بالنسبة إليّ، مجرّد إسم للمكان الذي سأُرسَل إليه خلال فترة تدريبي الرسوليّ. منذ سنة، كانت مجرّد إسم للمكان الذي أكتشفه. أمّا اليوم؟ فهي جزء من قصّتي ومن تاريخي، إنّها ترمز للمكان والأشخاص والرسالات والأحداث والصداقات الجديدة.

في ما يخصّ العمل التحليليّ، من السهل تصوّر مدى ارتفاع الطلب إليه نظرًا للظروف التي نعبر بها منذ أكثر من عشر سنوات ووباء الكورونا. هناك من يأتون بسبب وجود عائق نفسيّ ما (لا أحبّ استعمال كلمة المرض أو المريض في هذا المجال لما لها من خلفيّة سلبيّة جدًّا). وهناك من يأتي بسبب الوضع العامّ الذي نعيشه ولمعرفة كيفيّة حماية الذات وخاصّة الأطفال والشباب من أي انعكاس نفسيّ يمكن أن ينتج عن هذا الوضع. في المقابل هناك عددٌ لا يُستهان به من المهجّرين الذين، بسبب الغربة التي فُرضت عليهم بطريقة أو بأخرى، ظهرت لديهم العديد من الأزمات الشخصيّة والزوجيّة والعائليّة. فأصبحت ملزمًا بمتابعة هؤلاء الناس عن طريق وسائل الاتصال المختلفة. ما يعني أنّي أمارس هذا العمل يومياً لأكثر من 8 ساعات.
من ناحية التعليم المسيحيّ، لا نزال مستمرّين لكن أيضًا بسبب الأزمة، أغلبيّة المربّين الذين كوّنتهم على مدار السنين غادروا وبالتالي لديّ الشعور بالبدء من نقطة الصفر لتكوين كادر جديد يبقى مهددًّا دائماً بسبب السفر. الصيف الماضي (2020) لم أستطع تأمين الدورات التأهيليّة الصيفيّة التي أعتمد عليها كثيرًا في تأهيل المربّين وذلك بسبب وباء الكورونا.
أمران جديدان فرضا نفسهما بنفسهما:
1- منذ ظهور الوباء، وبسبب موقف الكنيسة الذي تجلّى فقط بنقل القداديس على وسائل الاتصال، ولم يكن لها أي كلمة تعزية لا بخصوص الأزمة بشكل عامّ ولا بسبب الوباء بشكل خاصّ، بدأت منذ أذار 2020 حتى الآن ببثّ محاضرات قصيرة مباشرة على صفحتي على الفيسبوك وعلى قناتي على اليوتيوب: «مباشر مع الأب رامي الياس». كل يوم ثلاثاء موضوع يخصّ الكتاب المقدّس والإيمان المسيحيّ. وكل يوم خميس موضوع عامّ: نفسيّ، تربويّ، إنسانيّ، الخ. المتابعة، في الحقيقة عالية جدًا. حتى الآن، مع ثلاث «استراحات»، قدمت 55 محاضرة. وسوف أتابع انشاالله في بداية شهر حزيران.
2- في نفس الاتّجاه، ونظرًا لانفصال الكنيسة ـــ تحديداً السلطة الكنسيّة ــــ عن الواقع، طالبت وبدأنا منذ سنة تقريباً بتنظيم سينودس كنسيّ، يشارك فيه جميع الناس بدون استثناء. قريبًا سنبدأ اللقاءات على صعيد كل الكنائس الكاثوليكيّة في دمشق وضواحيها لمناقشة محاور السينودس عسى أن نصل إلى تغيير مهم على هذا الصعيد.
والسفير البابويّ يتابع هذا العمل عن كثب وباهتمام كبير.
كما أتابع بين الحين وآخر مربّي التعليم المسيحيّ في اللاذقيّة.

Like many Lebanese—perhaps all—I felt a deep and overwhelming uncertainty about what this war would mean for our country. في يوم الأحد الموافق 12 كانون الثاني (يناير)، اجتمع مجموعة من الدارسين اليسوعيين، في مرحلة التدريب الرسوليّ، من مصر ولبنان والولايات المتحدة الأميركية في لقاء عبر الفيديو لمناقشة تجاربهم في الحياة الرسولية والتحديات التي يواجهونها. شارك في اللقاء جوزيف أشرف ورودي خليل الدارسَين في مصر، ومايكل جبريال ومايكل بيترو في لبنان، ودانيال عطالله في سوريا. وذلك تحت إشراف الأب ريكاردو خيمينيز، مسؤول التكوين في الإقليم.
An Appeal for a Council of Union
“I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church,” we profess in the Creed. But where is the one true Church to be found? The Orthodox claim that theirs is the one true Church, as do the Roman Catholics. Which is correct? There cannot be two true Churches, so it would seem that, to be a member of the one true Church, one has to choose either to be an Orthodox or a Roman Catholic.
What kind of tertianship are you doing?
More than one of the five Tertians enrolled in the Nicholas Kluiters European Tertianship Programme had to hear that question from friendly companions. Thankfully, the common response was a big smile. Eziokwu, Artur, Shigi, Matthew and Krystian met in Cairo last September for the launching of the 2024-2025 class.
Des retraites annuelles pour les prêtres séculiers
A la fin de l’année 2024, fin octobre et début décembre, j’ai accepté de donner deux retraites a des prêtres diocésains, l’une pour ceux d’Assiout et l’autre pour ceux de Souhag. Compte tenu de leur emploi du temps, chaque retraite a eu lieu du lundi au jeudi. Ce fut une expérience enrichissante qui m’a poussé à réfléchir sur ce service d’Eglise.

اجتماع مجموعة “الضفّتين” [ Deux rives ] في تونس
اجتمعت مجموعة “دو ريف” في تونس بين 30 ديسمبر و4 يناير.
كنا 10: 4 من الجزائر، 2 من تركيا، 2 من المغرب، 1 من إسبانيا و1 من إيطاليا. بالنسبة للجزء الأكبر، كنا منتظمين للمجموعة، باستثناء “فيكتور راموس”، الذي شارك لأول مرة.
Message du Père Provincial pour Nöel 2025
L’année 2024 a été particulièrement violente dans notre région. Nous avons vu la destruction de Gaza, et la violence dans la Cisjordanie. La région frontalière israélo-libanaise a été continuellement bombardée avec des centaines de milliers de personnes qui ont dû quitter leurs habitations des deux côtés de la frontière. Fin septembre 2024 cette guerre a franchi un nouveau palier avec des bombardements israéliens de la banlieue sud, étendus rapidement à tout le Liban où il y avait des membres de Hezbollah.
