وسط أجواء مفعمة بالتقدير والامتنان، كرّمت جامعة القدّيس يوسف في بيروت (USJ) البروفسور سليم دكّاش اليسوعيّ، رئيس الجامعة السابق (2012–2025)، خلال فعالية مميزة أُقيمت يوم الخميس 16 نيسان 2026 في حرم العلوم والتكنولوجيا – مدرج جان دوكرويه اليسوعيّ، وذلك ضمن فعاليات أسبوع اليسوعيين 2026، تحت عنوان: “كلّ إنسان وكلّ الإنسان”.
حصاد، ثلاث سنوات من النجاح والتأثير لجمعيتي النهضة وخضرا
شهدت جمعية النهضة العلميّة والثقافيّة خلال النصف الأوّل من عام 2026 العديد من الأنشطة والفعاليات، منها افتتاح الدفعة الثالثة عشر من مدرسة سينما الجزويت بالقاهرة- بتمويل من الرهبانيّة اليسوعيّة- وذلك ضمن مشروعات قطاع السينما. كما يشهد هذا القطاع ازدهارًا واسعا في أنشطته خاصّة في صعيد مصر بمدينة الأقصر، فضلا عن معمل الفيلم وأكاديمية الصناعة التي تركز على التسويق والبرمجة والنقد السينمائي وإصدار مجلة الفيلم بتمويل من مؤسسة دروسوس (Drosos). كذلك، هناك تعاون مع مؤسسة سيني فابريك (cine Fabrique) بفرنسا لإنتاج أفلام مشتركة بين طلبة من مصر وفرنسا.
Week-end Régional du Liban Chabrouh – 20-21 juin 2026
Tous les jésuites présents au Liban se sont rendus, au moins pour quelques heures, au Monastère choueirite de la Résurrection à Chabrouh, pour la rencontre Régionale organisée par le CAR sur le thème : « Ils retournèrent à Jérusalem dans une grande joie » – il s’agit des apôtres après l’Ascension, mais c’est aussi le titre de la longue lettre pastorale du cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, patriarche latin de Jérusalem, publiée le 24 avril 2026.

The Pope “sowed seeds of hope and peace”: Father Joseph Cassar SJ, the Jesuit who leads Jesuit Refugee Service in Iraq (JRS), comments warmly on Francis’ visit to the martyred Middle Eastern country (March 5-8).
“This visit was a kairos, a moment of value, which goes beyond the immediate time in which we live, and which lies entirely in the hands of God,” comments the Maltese Jesuit from Sharya, where JRS accompanies displaced Yazidis. “I was reminded of Jesus’ travels, as he looks at the crowds of those so much in need, dare I say like sheep without a shepherd, and the Lord has mercy on them. The whole visit had a prophetic dimension, which for its relevance goes beyond the boundaries of what is now a very small Christian community: I believe that Pope Francis sowed seeds of hope and peace in this country – a country in which, over these four decades, so much evil has been poured: conflicts, bombings, Isis. So much evil, so much violence, so many people have suffered.”
Father Cassar had the opportunity to meet briefly with Pope Francis on Sunday as he prepared to celebrate Mass in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, along with three confreres: Msgr. Antoine Audo, Chaldean bishop of Aleppo; Father Michael Zammit, Provincial of the Near East Porvince; and Father Antonio Spadaro, director of La Civiltà Cattolica. “My two minutes with the Holy Father were beautiful: he was very tired, almost exhausted, but also very, very happy.” Two years ago Father Cassar met Francis at the Vatican, during an audience granted to ROACO (Riunione delle Opere di Aiuto alle Chiese Orientali): “I had introduced myself to the Pope very briefly as a Jesuit working in Iraq,” he recounts, “and then he called me back and said, ‘Pray for me because I want to go there so much.’ And yesterday I heard that he was very happy to have made that visit.”

Nous continuons à marcher ensemble : Témoignage de la réunion de jésuites en Algérie (Mai 2026)
Nous avons d’abord fait le tour de table, en termes de conversation spirituelle. Être à l’écoute des autres qui peuvent me dire quelque chose de nouveau. Lorsque nous nous sommes retrouvés à Ben Smen, le cœur parlait encore des visites successives du Pape et du Père Général (Arturo Sosa) accompagnés de Victor Assouad. Nous vivons avec un sentiment de profonde gratitude.
