Every three years, the Society of Jesus organizes Regional Youth Days (Journées Régionales pour Jeunes “JRJ”) in the Middle East. These days are usually planned to take place in a country chosen by the provincial of the Society.
The aim of these days is to provide a time and place for the society and the youth to come together, to share their experiences, desires, challenges and expectations, to engage in a human and spiritual experience that enriches and deepens their faith, to give them the space to speak out and dream about their future.
This year, 2023, and due to the economic and political situation in our region, the decision was taken to conduct these days at country level, hence, there was one in Egypt (End of July 2023) and another one in Syria (6-10 August 2023), in which Lebanese youth participated.
This document is intended for those who desired to participate but for many reasons they were not able to do so. Therefore, we put in your hands a glimpse of what we lived together in JRJ Syria 2023, which was entitled “A Dream Comes True”. Download the English version, or the Arabic.

أخويّة العذراء الّتي حُبل بها بلا دنس، أخويّة الرجال الّتي تأسّست في دير بكفيّا، سُجّلت في رابطة الأخويّات العالميّة سنة ١٨٥١. حين احتفلت بمئويّتها سنة ١٩٥١، ابتكر رئيسها آنذاك، السيّد يوسف أبي هيلا، مع رفيقنا الأب جورج خوري، رحمهما الله، رابطة الأخويّات في لبنان.

La consulte s’est déroulée du 25 au 28 mars 2026 à Saint-Joseph à Beyrouth. En tout premier, nous avons félicité le P. Marek Cieslik que le père général a nommé provincial de la PRO à partir du 8 septembre prochain.
