جامعة القدّيس يوسف في بيروت تكرّم البروفسور سليم دكاش اليسوعيّ
وسط أجواء مفعمة بالتقدير والامتنان، كرّمت جامعة القدّيس يوسف في بيروت (USJ) البروفسور سليم دكّاش اليسوعيّ، رئيس الجامعة السابق (2012–2025)، خلال فعالية مميزة أُقيمت يوم الخميس 16 نيسان 2026 في حرم العلوم والتكنولوجيا – مدرج جان دوكرويه اليسوعيّ، وذلك ضمن فعاليات أسبوع اليسوعيين 2026، تحت عنوان: “كلّ إنسان وكلّ الإنسان”.
حصاد، ثلاث سنوات من النجاح والتأثير لجمعيتي النهضة وخضرا
شهدت جمعية النهضة العلميّة والثقافيّة خلال النصف الأوّل من عام 2026 العديد من الأنشطة والفعاليات، منها افتتاح الدفعة الثالثة عشر من مدرسة سينما الجزويت بالقاهرة- بتمويل من الرهبانيّة اليسوعيّة- وذلك ضمن مشروعات قطاع السينما. كما يشهد هذا القطاع ازدهارًا واسعا في أنشطته خاصّة في صعيد مصر بمدينة الأقصر، فضلا عن معمل الفيلم وأكاديمية الصناعة التي تركز على التسويق والبرمجة والنقد السينمائي وإصدار مجلة الفيلم بتمويل من مؤسسة دروسوس (Drosos). كذلك، هناك تعاون مع مؤسسة سيني فابريك (cine Fabrique) بفرنسا لإنتاج أفلام مشتركة بين طلبة من مصر وفرنسا.
Week-end Régional du Liban Chabrouh – 20-21 juin 2026
Tous les jésuites présents au Liban se sont rendus, au moins pour quelques heures, au Monastère choueirite de la Résurrection à Chabrouh, pour la rencontre Régionale organisée par le CAR sur le thème : « Ils retournèrent à Jérusalem dans une grande joie » – il s’agit des apôtres après l’Ascension, mais c’est aussi le titre de la longue lettre pastorale du cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, patriarche latin de Jérusalem, publiée le 24 avril 2026.
Father John Paul (“JP”), a Jesuit of the Midwest Province in the United States of America, began his job as Rector of Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem on July 1, 2020. The Tantur Ecumenical Institute is situated at a beautiful location on a hill in Jerusalem, near Bethlehem. It serves as a welcoming place in the Holy Land for visitors who come from all over the world to stay at this oasis of learning, community and hospitality. This is the first time a Jesuit has been named rector of the institute that is administered by the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Father John Paul is of Lebanese origin, from a Greek Catholic family.
Although the continuing education and sabbatical programs at Tantur have been “on hold” because of COVID-19, an online Advent Retreat has been taking place in partnership with the Ignatian Spirituality Center and Ignatian Spirituality Community in Geneva and Glasgow Scotland. Since participants cannot come to the Holy Land, Tantur’s Holy Land encounter is going to them! The focus on this Advent retreat is on the season of “announcements” as presented in the Gospels: the announcements to Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, and the world through the shepherds at the Nativity. This online retreat includes a virtual “tour” of the various areas (Nazareth, Jerusalem at the time of the 2nd Temple, the wilderness of the Forerunner, etc) as well as a presentation for reflection. David Neuhaus SJ has generously offered to be one of the presenters. Over 150 from all over the world have registered and participated in this retreat thus far.
In addition to the retreat, JP has also been working with colleagues at the University of Notre Dame in re-doing Tantur’s website. Finally, he has also been working with St. Olaf’s College in Northfield, Minnesota in formulating a 2 month program for their religious studies department to be held in 2023.
It is hoped that soon Tantur and all the other institutions in the Holy Land will be able to open their doors again.

Nous continuons à marcher ensemble : Témoignage de la réunion de jésuites en Algérie (Mai 2026)
Nous avons d’abord fait le tour de table, en termes de conversation spirituelle. Être à l’écoute des autres qui peuvent me dire quelque chose de nouveau. Lorsque nous nous sommes retrouvés à Ben Smen, le cœur parlait encore des visites successives du Pape et du Père Général (Arturo Sosa) accompagnés de Victor Assouad. Nous vivons avec un sentiment de profonde gratitude.

La consulte provinciale s’est réunie du 8 au 10 mai à Saint-Joseph à Beyrouth. Les status à prévoir ont occupé une large partie de la consulte. Mais pas seulement !
