رحيل الأب جوزيف فوزي عطيّة “الراهب المحبوب البشوش”
شيّعت محافظة المنيا، اليوم الأحد، جنازة الأب الراهب جوزيف فوزي اليسوعي، مدير مدرسة الآباء اليسوعيين بالمنيا، والذي لقب بالراهب والمدير المحبوب البشوش، وشاركت بالجنازة وفود وممثلين من كافة الكنائس، والهيئات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس وجمعية الجزويت والفرير، والمئات من مسلمي وأقباط محافظتي المنيا وأسيوط والقاهرة .

منذ سنة ونصف تقريبًا تمَّ إجراء بعض التعديلات الجذريّة في ديرنا “St. Ignace” في العزيزية – حلب. حيث تمّ تحويل غرف الآباء إلى قاعات ومساحات تخدم الأنشطة الشبابيّة. فأصبح الدير يضمّ مركزًا أُطلق عليه “مركز التكوين اليسوعيّ” Center of Jesuit Formation، أو ما يُعرَف اختصارًا بـــــــــ “CJF”.

Les jésuites d’Algérie ont pu se réunir à Tunis autour du Provincial et de son socius entre le 28 mai et le 2 juin dernier. Etait invité à la rencontre Alvar Sanchez sj, supérieur des jésuites du Maroc, dont la communauté dépend d’Almeria en Espagne. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons eu la grâce d’une heure de conversation avec le père général par zoom.
Antranik Kurukian, a Lebanese scholastic of Armenian extraction, is doing his second cycle of theology studies at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid in Ignatian spirituality. After having completed his first cycle in theology at Centre Sevres in Paris, he moved to Spain and perfected his Spanish in order to study there.
On February 5, 2022 in the late afternoon, Antranik and seven of his Jesuit companions from different provinces, were ordained deacons by Cardinal Carlos Osoro Sierra, Archbishop of Madrid. The simple but moving celebration took place in the church of Saint Francis Xavier and Louis Gonzaga, a Jesuit parish attached to a Jesuit school in one of Madrid’s neighborhoods.
Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the invited guests were few in number but that did not diminish the atmosphere of joy. Although Antranik’s family could not attend, he was surrounded by a few companions and friends who came from abroad. In attendance were three Jesuits from the Near East Province, two scholastics flew in from France, Emile Gebraiel and Raymond-Emad, and David Neuhaus, Delegate for Formation flew in from the Middle East.
Before and after the ordination, Antranik proposed a magnificent program of visits and meals so that his guests would be kept busy and could get to know a little the beautiful city of Madrid and its sites.

Messe du Cardinal Petro Parolin pour l’Ordre de Malte à l’église St Joseph
L’Ordre de Malte au Liban a obtenu que le Cardinal Petro Parolin, Secrétaire d’état (“numéro 2” du Vatican), vienne célébrer la messe de sa fête annuelle, le 24 juin. Le Pape François a voulu ainsi manifester son soutien au Liban, et son attention à l’Ordre de Malte. Et l’Ordre a choisi notre église Saint-Joseph, si bien rénovée, pour cette célébration. Nous avons accepté, car l’Ordre fait beaucoup de bien au Liban, soutenant les plus vulnérables.
لحظة مضيئة – التنوير… عند الآباء اليسوعيّين
أعتز بكوني من ابناء مدرسة العائلة المقدسة (المعروفة في مصر باسم “الجزويت”). ورغم أنني لا أجد الوقت الكافي للتواصل معها إلا أن بداخلي شعور عميق بالعرفان للمدرسة وللأباء اليسوعيين (ترجمة جزويت) الذين أنشأوها وأداروها وعلموا بها أجيالا متعاقبة لما يقرب من مائة وخمسين عاما .. ولهذا أسعدني تلقي دعوة لزيارتها من يومين.
حدودنا السما Fête du Collège NDJ 2024
La fête du Collège est, comme tous les ans, l’événement tant attendu de tous, comprenant un riche programme d’activités pour tous les âges et tous les goûts. Placée sous le thème « حدودنا السما », l’édition 2024 se veut sans limites. Dirigée d’une main de maître par Mme Violette Ghorra, la commission d’organisation s’est démenée pendant des mois pour clôturer l’année scolaire avec une fête des plus réussies.
