رحيل الأب جوزيف فوزي عطيّة “الراهب المحبوب البشوش”
شيّعت محافظة المنيا، اليوم الأحد، جنازة الأب الراهب جوزيف فوزي اليسوعي، مدير مدرسة الآباء اليسوعيين بالمنيا، والذي لقب بالراهب والمدير المحبوب البشوش، وشاركت بالجنازة وفود وممثلين من كافة الكنائس، والهيئات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس وجمعية الجزويت والفرير، والمئات من مسلمي وأقباط محافظتي المنيا وأسيوط والقاهرة .
أعمال الترميم في دير الآباء اليسوعيّين في حلب
منذ سنة ونصف تقريبًا تمَّ إجراء بعض التعديلات الجذريّة في ديرنا “St. Ignace” في العزيزية – حلب. حيث تمّ تحويل غرف الآباء إلى قاعات ومساحات تخدم الأنشطة الشبابيّة. فأصبح الدير يضمّ مركزًا أُطلق عليه “مركز التكوين اليسوعيّ” Center of Jesuit Formation، أو ما يُعرَف اختصارًا بـــــــــ “CJF”.

Les jésuites d’Algérie ont pu se réunir à Tunis autour du Provincial et de son socius entre le 28 mai et le 2 juin dernier. Etait invité à la rencontre Alvar Sanchez sj, supérieur des jésuites du Maroc, dont la communauté dépend d’Almeria en Espagne. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons eu la grâce d’une heure de conversation avec le père général par zoom.
We had a recollection day at mount Nebo, memorial of Moses. Fr. Raffaele Caputo, ofm was generous in welcoming to their monastery and sharing with us some points of reflection. After the holy mass he invited us for a fellowship meal. As part of the Ignatian year activities, Moayad had arranged a day long hiking with the support of some energetic youth who know the places well. It was in one of the beautiful forests in Jerash called Aisifsafeh. Three fmm and one Comboni Sisters also participated. The hike included sometimes of silence walk, meditation, preparing lunch and concluding it with the holy mass by Fr. Bimal.
In the Advent season Moayad is conducting some spiritual hours for some parishes. He already had in Smakieh, the south of Jordan and AlHosn in the north, with the aim to help the youth to have some time to prepare for Christmas.
The English-speaking parish continued the journey during the Ignatian year with a recollection day on the feast day of Saint Francis Xavier. Solemn mass and a reception with generous gifts of the assembly were followed by a lecture “Francis Xavier, master Ignatius and the path to holiness “, discussion and adoration. A simple lunch concluded this day of companionship, prayer and sharing. On 10th December, we had a Cultural Christmas evening at College de la salle. All the talents were brought together in the form of dance, music, singing, and short comics.

Messe du Cardinal Petro Parolin pour l’Ordre de Malte à l’église St Joseph
L’Ordre de Malte au Liban a obtenu que le Cardinal Petro Parolin, Secrétaire d’état (“numéro 2” du Vatican), vienne célébrer la messe de sa fête annuelle, le 24 juin. Le Pape François a voulu ainsi manifester son soutien au Liban, et son attention à l’Ordre de Malte. Et l’Ordre a choisi notre église Saint-Joseph, si bien rénovée, pour cette célébration. Nous avons accepté, car l’Ordre fait beaucoup de bien au Liban, soutenant les plus vulnérables.
لحظة مضيئة – التنوير… عند الآباء اليسوعيّين
أعتز بكوني من ابناء مدرسة العائلة المقدسة (المعروفة في مصر باسم “الجزويت”). ورغم أنني لا أجد الوقت الكافي للتواصل معها إلا أن بداخلي شعور عميق بالعرفان للمدرسة وللأباء اليسوعيين (ترجمة جزويت) الذين أنشأوها وأداروها وعلموا بها أجيالا متعاقبة لما يقرب من مائة وخمسين عاما .. ولهذا أسعدني تلقي دعوة لزيارتها من يومين.
حدودنا السما Fête du Collège NDJ 2024
La fête du Collège est, comme tous les ans, l’événement tant attendu de tous, comprenant un riche programme d’activités pour tous les âges et tous les goûts. Placée sous le thème « حدودنا السما », l’édition 2024 se veut sans limites. Dirigée d’une main de maître par Mme Violette Ghorra, la commission d’organisation s’est démenée pendant des mois pour clôturer l’année scolaire avec une fête des plus réussies.
