Ignatian year inaugurated in Amman – Jordan

We had the Inaugural Ignatian year on May 22 at 11.30 am in Arabic language in the Church of College de la Salle, Jabal Hussein, Amman. The solemn Holy Mass was presided over by the Latin Bishop Most Rev. William Shomali. Greek Melkite Bishop Most Rev.Joseph Jabara also participated. A good number of priests, religious and well-wishers of Jesuits were present. The Ignatian Year team under the leadership of Sch. Moayad Maya took the active part for making the offertory, prayer of petitions etc. a meaningful one. He guided the choir also taking the initiative with his own old friends of earlier College days. Fr. Marc- Stephan took the responsibility of arranging around the altar and guided his young and smart mass servers.
