خوف، قلق، رفض، تَعثُّر، قبول، انفتاح، حب، حماس، فرح، تعاون، لعب، دراسة، تكوين، رياضة، عمل فردي وجماعي، مشاركة وفرح… كل هذه المشاعر والأفعال تتداخل لتكوّن خليطًا نادرًا من التجارب الإنسانية، يجعلنا ندرك أن شيئًا مهمًا قد حدث، وأن هناك ما يستحق الانتباه والرعاية والتغيير. هذا هو جوهر الفصول الشتوية للمرحلة الإعدادية 2025/2026م، حيث يُصنع التعلم، وتَزدهر الصداقات، وتَكتشف كل روح إمكانياتها في بيئة مليئة بالحياة والحيوية.
32nd Prayer Rally 2025
The Arrupe Migrant Center (AMC) of the Society of Jesus celebrated the 32nd Prayer Rally with joy and hope on a beautiful Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, at St. Joseph Parish in Achrafieh, Beirut. October, a month dedicated to the Holy Rosary, calls us to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary through heartfelt prayer.
The Jesuits in Aleppo
It is Saturday evening, and something is stirring within the venerable old walls of the Jesuit community in Aleppo. A group of friends stroll into the building—they’ve arrived early for the weekly movie night—and settle into the garden at the heart of the community, where a group of students is also taking a break and discussing life and faith with Frère Julian.
La célébration des vœux solennels du Père Jad Chébly, le 22 juillet 2024, en l’église du Collège Notre Dame de Jamhour, fut un moment exceptionnel, concluant de manière significative la journée de repos des scolastiques jésuites réunis en session à Bikfaya.
Imprégnée de joie et de spiritualité, cette cérémonie a rassemblé une grande foule venue exprimer son soutien et son affection au nouveau votant. Parmi les participants se trouvaient non seulement des jésuites du Proche-Orient et du Maghreb arabe, mais aussi la famille de Jad et de nombreux amis issus des divers mouvements auxquels il a contribué, ainsi qu’une présence massive du personnel de l’USJ. À la fin de la célébration, Jad nous a fait part de sa joie de voir sa famille, dispersée aux quatre coins du monde, réunie pour cette occasion.
Les divers mouvements et institutions dans lesquels Jad a œuvré étaient largement représentés, témoignant de l’impact profond et durable de son engagement et de sa présence bienveillante auprès de chacun et de chacune.
La célébration a également été marquée par son caractère profondément personnel, mettant en évidence l’expérience spirituelle de Jad, s’articulant autour de cette parole évangélique : « J’ai vu le Seigneur » (Jn 20, 18). Cette citation choisie par Jad, résonne comme un témoignage de sa rencontre intime et transformative avec le divin. Une rencontre approuvée et éprouvée à travers le temps. Quoi de mieux pour exprimer l’engagement de Jad dans son cheminement spirituel que de reprendre la parole du Renard philosophe : « C’est le temps que tu as perdu pour ta rose qui fait ta rose si importante » ?
La célébration a été suivie d’un cocktail, reflet de la générosité et du bon accueil habituels de Jad. Ce moment convivial a permis aux participants de partager leurs impressions et de prolonger la communion fraternelle dans un cadre détendu et chaleureux sur les parvis de l’Église. En somme, la célébration des vœux solennels du Père Jad Chébly a été un moment de grâce et de communion, réunissant autour de lui une communauté diversifiée et unie par l’amour et la foi.

اللقاء القطري في لبنان تشرين الثاني ٢٠٢٥
في لقاءٍ أخويّ، اجتمع اليسوعيّون من القطر اللبناني في دير سيّدة النجاة في بكفيّا يوم السبت الموافق 15 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني، وذلك في إطار سلسلة اللقاءات القطريّة. وقد كان اللقاء بعنوان “تحدّيات الخدمة الكهنوتيّة في الرهبانيّة اليسوعيّة”. بدأ النهار بصلاة في كنيسة الدير، ثمّ قضينا وقتًا من المحادثة الروحيّة في مجموعات صغيرة انطلاقًا من مقطع من خطاب البابا لاون الرابع عشر بعنوان “من أجل لاهوت أساسيّ للكهنوت”. بعد ذلك احتفلنا بالقدّاس الإلهي في كنيسة الدير، وقد كان المحتفل الأب هاني الريّس الذي يحتفل بمرور ستين سنة على حياته المكرّسة.

On est rassemblés aujourd’hui pour confier à Dieu Arij, ce cher compagnon jésuite qui a cherché si on peut dire Dieu toute sa vie et l’a trouvé à travers les détours, les hauteurs, et parfois les solitudes de son cœur.

تخدم رسالة التعليم المسيحيّ في حمص – سوريا ما يزيد عن 1700 شخص، من أطفالٍ وشبابٍ ونساء. بعد سقوط نظام الأسد، وما تبع ذلك من خوفٍ عميقٍ انتاب المسيحيّين أمام المجهول والتغيّر والفوضى الأمنيّة، واجهت رسالتنا، كغيرها، العديد من التحديات خلال السنة الماضية. ومع ذلك، عشنا خلالها الكثير من علامات الرجاء التي أنعشت قلوبنا وثبّتت خطانا في الخدمة.
