It is both an honor and a privilege to address you today and to share with you the mission, dedication, and ongoing efforts of the CJC family in Zahlé.

Under the guidance of our committed leadership and with unwavering faith, we remain fully devoted to fulfilling the objectives of our association. Our work is driven by a deep sense of responsibility to serve the local community and to uphold the values that define us.

In response to the growing needs of our community, particularly among the most vulnerable, we have implemented several key initiatives focused on social solidarity, humanitarian support, and spiritual care.

These efforts are carried out in close collaboration with a team of devoted volunteers.

Allow me to outline some of our primary activities:

●    Home Visits to Families in Need

We conduct regular visits to families facing difficult circumstances, providing both psychological and spiritual support. These visits are often accompanied by Father Gabriel Khairallah, our spiritual guide, whose presence offers both comfort and encouragement to those we serve.

●    Distribution of Food Baskets

Each month, we distribute food baskets to approximately 150 families. In addition, cleaning supplies are provided when necessary, ensuring that basic needs are met with dignity and care.

●    Daily Meal Program

In partnership with the Union of Associations in Zahlé, we deliver prepared meals three times a week to individuals who are unable to

access meal centers. Approximately 400 people benefit from each meal service, equating to nearly 4,800 to 5,000 meals per month.

●    Support for the Elderly and People with Disabilities

We offer consistent support to 65 elderly individuals, including those with special needs, by providing essential supplies such as diapers. This service helps to alleviate daily burdens and maintain a sense of dignity and comfort.

●    Medical Support for the Sick

In collaboration with local associations and a certified nurse, we visit the sick and provide medical care. Our focus includes treatment for those suffering from bed sores and diabetic wounds—addressing both physical and emotional well-being.

These initiatives have had a significant impact on the Christian community in Zahlé. Through our work, we strive to:

  • Reinforce the spirit of solidarity and mutual
  • Preserve and promote our Christian identity and
  • Strengthen community
  • Enhance the overall quality of life for those we

While challenges undoubtedly exist, we take great pride in the progress we have made. We remain committed to expanding our reach and impact, always striving to make the best use of the resources entrusted to us.

As faithful stewards of this mission, we continue to move forward with humility, dedication, and a deep sense of purpose. We respectfully seek your continued prayers and blessings, and we thank you for your time, your support, and your trust in our work. Thank you.
